What we do

Four jobs you'll never do again.

Real people run all of it. You'll hear from us when something genuinely needs you — which is rarely.

Watching

We tell you where you owe — before the state does

We watch your sales state by state and flag the moment you're about to cross a line, including the ones you cross by taking a table at a show or leaving metal in a depository. Then we do the registration for you.

  • We watch every state
  • Shows and consignment count
  • We register for you
Tagging

Your catalogue tags itself

Every item gets sorted automatically — the metal, the form, whether it's legal tender, whether it's graded. The right tax gets charged at checkout in every state, and you never look anything up.

  • Automatic tagging
  • Correct at checkout
  • Nothing to maintain
Filing

Returns filed and paid, on time

We prepare each return, show it to you, then file it and send the money. Approve with one click — or tell us to stop asking and just take care of it.

  • Prepared for you
  • Paid on time
  • One-click approval
Proof

Paperwork that holds up in an audit

We collect your dealer-to-dealer resale certificates, check them, and track when they expire. If an auditor ever asks why a sale wasn't taxed, the answer is already on file.

  • Certificates collected
  • Expiry tracked
  • Audit-ready
Why us

Generic tax software gets this trade wrong.

Not because it's bad software. Bullion sits in a corner of the tax code nobody else has a reason to learn properly — and the mistakes cost real money.

Palladium isn't gold

Three states exempt bullion and still tax palladium. Software that treats precious metals as one category charges the wrong amount.

Sometimes the big sales are the taxable ones

Most states stop charging tax above a set price. Louisiana does the opposite. Get it backwards and you undercharge on exactly the coins the state wants tax on.

It's the whole order, not the line

California looks at everything precious-metal in an order together, not item by item. Checking line by line gets it wrong every time.

Some cities go their own way

A handful of cities collect their own tax, ignore the state exemption, and want their own return. We file those too.

Old returns need old rules

California's threshold moved in 2023. Amend a return from before then and it has to use the rules from back then. Ours does.

Somebody actually checked it

Every rule we apply was read off the statute by a person before it ever touched your money. None of it is guessed.

Proof

We show our work.

You will never need to look at this. But it's here, and it's the actual thing we run on — three real rules, with the law they came from.

CACalifornia
Tax-free at $2,000 and up
Measured across the whole order

Bullion and numismatic coins counted together in one transaction. The line moved up from $1,500 in July 2023.

LALouisiana
Taxed above $1,000
Per coin — the opposite of everywhere else

Numismatic coins are only exempt where the sales price is no more than one thousand dollars. Read it backwards and you undercharge.
